The Prayer Ministry at Midstream Methodist Church exists to support the spiritual life of the church through prayer, encouragement, and compassionate care. We believe prayer is the heartbeat of the church. Our desire is to cultivate an environment where prayer becomes a natural part of everyday faith, ensuring that people always know they are supported and uplifted.
Our team of dedicated intercessors—our spiritual “Watchmen”—prays regularly for the congregation, church leadership, ministries, and the needs of our community. Through this consistent prayer, we seek God’s guidance, strength, and healing in every area of life. Prayer takes place in several structured ways, including immediate Altar Ministry during Sunday services, ongoing intercession for church operations, and participation in our vibrant weekly prayer gatherings.
The ministry also provides opportunities for people to receive targeted Prayer Partner support during challenging seasons. Whether someone is facing illness, family difficulties, important decisions, or simply needs encouragement, members of the prayer team are available to stand with them.
Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.
